Lori Has a love and compassion for animals that is rare to find in a person. Anyone would be privileged to have her care for their animals while they are away. I recently went on an eight day vacation and left my two dogs, a Pappy Pom and a Keeshond, at home. Lori was to walk the dogs three times each day and feed them while I was gone. I was worried about leaving my dogs alone for such a long time period. They have never been left alone overnight before, and I am usually home with them during the day as well. I had no need to worry however. They received the same love and care from Lori that I give them. I returned home to two happy and healthy dogs.

Lori really went above and beyond when caring for my dogs. My keeshond Sadie, is eleven years old , and she suffers from arthritis. Occasionally this interferes with her ability to walk. This occurred for a few days while we were on vacation. Lori carried the dog up and down the stairs and helped her to walk to go to the bathroom. Lori informed me of Sadie's problems, and even offered to take her to the vet for me if I deemed it necessary. she spent time sitting with Sadie and offering her comfort. It was certainly more than was expected of her.

Lori also spent time playing with my other dog, Murphy. She brought him some of his favorite treats and spent time sitting and watching television with him so he would be comfortable. She also brushed both of the dogs while I was away. I do not think you will find a more dedicated or caring pet sitter than Lori.

Lori is a caring and compassionate pet lover, who has a natural bond with animals. Both of my dogs absolutely adore her and I would not hesitate to leave them in her care again. You would be fortunate to have Lori as a pet sitter. I recommend her to you with no Reservations.

Lori Light is the best pet sitter we know. She is the local Dog and Animal Whisperer. Our five and a half year old chocolate Labrador Retriever (our child), Titan loves her. Up untl recently, we have never taken a trip without Titan for three reasons. a.) we love him very much and never watned him to feel left out of our pack. b.) we did not know if he'd be comfortable with a pet sitter and c.) we were not sure if we'd feel comfortable with a pet sitter. However we have seen how Lori provides uparalleled attention, care and comfort to any and all animals in the neighborhood. This was what we wanted for Titan, if and when we decide to leave Titan. Upon return from two recent trips, we found that Titan was absolutely calm and very satisfied that Lori had cared for him during our absence. Lori followed our instructions to the smallest detail, and she even got our mail and took care of our home as well. Lori is an animal lover, and we would not want anybody other than an animal lover, and no other animal lover than the incomprable Lori Light to take care of Titan and hence us. Our dog Lilly is a 4 year old Beagle. She can be difficult sometimes with new people or outside. Lori is the only person we trust completely to take care of Lilly when we are working or out of town. Lori is extremely professional and is great to work with. I have recommended her to anyone that needs personal, professional pet care.

Pearl, and I moved to Rocky Hill so I could complete a contracting job in East Hartford.

Out of dozens of online ads, I only contacted 3 folks (I’m way picky where Pearl’s care is concerned). Though all 3 were obviously wonderful people, I was pretty sure Lori Light was the one for Pearl when I read she was also a professional groomer who had volunteered for two years training/socializing of dogs for the Ct. Humane Society and currently offered free grooming services to the Protectors of Animals.

I waited to let Pearl determine the final outcome (she can sense nice vs. not nice people).

The moment Pearl spotted Lori, she ran up to her, hopping all around her legs (which verified Lori was in the ‘nice people’ category) and since then we have been blessed to have such a trustworthy, reliable and generous caretaker tending to Pearl’s midday needs (she spoils both Pearl and me with little surprises from fancy dog bandanas to a tiny, precious Christmas tree). 

If you are as picky about your dog’s physical and emotional welfare as I am, I know that if you choose Lori as his or her caretaker, not only will you not be disappointed with Lori’s care, you’ll be thankful for it as you go about your work day (or vacation, etc.) without one worry about your loved one
 

When my husband and I started working longer hours we needed to find someone who could walk our yellow lab. We love our dog but know that he is "free spirited" and needs a lot of exercise and attention. Thus, we could not entrust the care of our dog to just anyone. We were so lucky to have found Lori Light. Lori truly loves dogs and understands them more than anyone I have ever met. We trust her with our house key, and more than that we know that she will take care of our dog (who we consider our baby). Lori knows how to keep him calm and happy and he absolutely loves her. Further more, she is professional, caring and willing to be flexible and adapt to our crazy schedules. Lori even leaves us little notes about what our dog did on his walk that day.
